Excellent. They were both very patient and they were very familiar with the IB curriculum of their respective subjects.

Ms Jullie is a very patient teacher. She was willing to explain a concept several times till I understood. She gave me practice questions after explaining and went through all my doubts. I appreciated her letting me work independently first before asking her if I had any doubts. She went through the question step by step (since steps can’t be missed) and that helped me with my revision as well. I have been taught by Ms Jullie for quite a few years and I think both she and I managed to learn about each other’s teaching and learning methods so that we could effectively make each lesson useful, especially in the months leading up to IB.

Initially I struggled with learning in class and my confidence fell, but working at Ms Mengyang helped me to fully understand and improved my maths ability. She also helped me to gain confidence in my maths skills through her kindness, supportive nature and approachability especially when in class. Thank you for helping me through my maths journey.

Mr Hongyi and Mr Kin Leong are both very dedicated and skilled tutors that have helped me improve my failing grades to well above passing marks, very close to a distinction. In a very short time, Mr Kin Leong was able to help me consolidate my Chemistry learning and correct my many misconceptions that were pulling my grades down. Similarly, Mr Hongyi was very patient with me and is very skilled in finding alternate ways to explain a concept when I could not understand it the first time. I am very thankful to the two of them for helping me achieve the grades I have today.

Also I would like to thank you and the various Mindlab admin staff that made arranging for lessons seamless and easy this past year 🙂

Ms. Jenn was an absolutely amazing teacher and I cannot thank her enough for all her help with higher level mathematics. I had never done math tuition before, so having to do tuition really felt like a blow to my self-esteem and confidence, but the learning experience and environment with Ms.Jenn was extremely non-judgemental and friendly. I really appreciated her ability to break down topics and teach them to me in one whole lesson- teaching me the fundamentals and then building up to solve problems was by far the most useful and effective learning method. My son received a 7 for English, Maths and Econs. Mr Sean was very efficient in helping my son get an excellent grasp of how to analyse, organise and be clear when he writes. Ms Jenn helped to motivate my son to realise the importance and be willing to practise his papers. Mr Chee Teck taught well on the subject and my son benefitted from his teaching.

Mr. Enrico really helped my son through his last 2 years of math. He was proactive, always in-sync with school lessons. Having that 1:1 time each week was a huge help. On top of that, they formed a good and friendly bond. My son doesn’t like getting up for lessons, but he doesn’t miss Mr. Enrico 😊

Feedback: I found Mindlab’s tuition very helpful towards my preparations for IB. All admin is centralised and the team was responsive & accommodating to any changes in schedule. My tutor (Mr Enrico) was able to provide resources/guidance/clarification on any topics that I was unclear about. Ms Siti is an amazing tutor as she managed to help me understand all the concepts taught in the course and identify and build on my weak points through her very well structured sessions. Her teaching method enables swift, accurate and easy to understand explanations which made things clear and straight to the point for me. She also taught multiple methods to solving questions which I found to be life saving.

My Chem tutor has also helped me significantly, in a very short period of time she clearly explained every chapter of the course. She helped identify my weak points and found solutions to strengthen them through teaching me various methods to solve the questions.

Mr Enrico has been a wonderful teacher throughout my entire time with him.
