I took the IGCSE Exams in 2020 and took the valuable coaching from Mindlab. I’m extremely thankful to Ms Michele and Mr Kin Leong for taking me additional care for my Biology and Chemistry which i scored C(51%) in prelims where Mindlab tutors and Admin staff helped me to secure the correct slot and given me coaching to get A*(A star, ) in Biology(90%) and Chemistry(93%) in Final IGCSE results. I am much thankful and appreciated to the team and now i have taken HL Bio, Chemistry and Economics and again took the coaching from Mindlab tutors for IB for all the 3 HL subjects and including SL Mathematics and hope to get the best score out of IB. For us, during this pandemic kids focus on more study (since not much CCA at schools) and we don’t find any difficult situation. And we joined the Mindlab when they finished Preliminary exam but from that with in short term its helped to improve their grade. So we decided to stay on for IB. We believe with kids efforts and Mindlab teacher and staff support our kids can achieve their academic goal!

In regards to the IB grades, my school originally predicted me a 35/45. However, I received a higher score than what was predicted!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mindlab and their teachers for their guidance and support provided. I received a 5/7 in my English IA; however, due to my bad school reputation, the grade wasn’t increased. This was the only subject I missed by a point and Math SL.

Ms Michelle provided many useful past papers for me to prepare for my final exam. She always check my answers carefully and give me feedback to improve my skills in answering essay questions.

Mr Cedric’s lessons are always very interesting and creative. He prepared many videos for me to practice my listening skill, as well as online articles to help me improve my reading comprehension.

Mr Devin and Ms Imee have been very helpful in my understanding of different theories in chemistry. They can always answer the questions that I don’t understand. At the same time, they strengthen my ability of answering different type of questions.

I started lessons with Ms. Michelle in Grade 8 for Biology and continued with her throughout my entire IGCSE journey. When I first began, I lacked the basic fundamentals in Biology. However, through her consistent guidance and weekly lessons, I steadily improved, achieving A stars and As in the subject, culminating in an A star for my final IGCSE exam.
Ms. Michelle breaks down complex topics into simpler, more understandable terms. She also adapts to my learning style, often using visual aids such as diagrams and drawings, which made the subject much easier to grasp. Additionally, she prints out past papers for me to practice, which provided me with ample preparation and helped me gain confidence for the exams.
Without Ms. Michelle’s support, I wouldn’t have been able to build a strong foundation in Biology or develop such a thorough understanding of the subject. Thank you, Ms. Michelle, for your encouragement, dedication, and unwavering support!
