My final IGCSE grade is A* (95). My predicted grade is also A*, but i scored 80 for my mocks. Feedback on Mr. Huang Qi: I feel that he had supported me in revising and correcting my work. He is very patient and would explain the concepts I am not too sure of thoroughly. I would like to thank him for teaching me for the past year!

My son does not want to share his results. First of all I’d like to say a big thank you to Ms. Jamuna for getting H through his Eco exam. He and I both are happy with his result. Ms. Jamuna was well liked by H and although he did not enjoy the subject of Economics, he enjoyed Ms. Jamuna’s class because of her pleasant disposition and teaching style. H’s view of her was always positive and I believe that this played a major factor in allowing him to persevere.

I did not think I could ever in my entire IBDP journey do well on my economics. Ms Jamuna is a great teacher who could clearly communicate the syllabus to me. I was starting to struggle in Maths a little and Mr Jack helped with explaining concepts from scratch.

In regards to the IB grades, my school originally predicted me a 35/45. However, I received a higher score than what was predicted!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mindlab and their teachers for their guidance and support provided. I received a 5/7 in my English IA; however, due to my bad school reputation, the grade wasn’t increased. This was the only subject I missed by a point and Math SL.

Every Mindlab tutor has been both very kind and patient in guiding me well and answering all my queries patiently. Without their guidance, I would not have achieved these scores. I am thankful to Mindlab. Please convey my regards and thanks to the teachers.

My final IB business grade is 6 and IB economics grade is 7. As comparison, my previous scores before came to your centre were business 6 and economics 6. Ms Jamuna is an EXCELLENT tutor with experience and is able to explain knowledge in detail to students. Furthermore, she always answer questions patiently and nicely.

Mr Chee Teck (Econs) & Mr Jiabin (Math): Mr Jiabin was a good tutor he was very nice and helped me focus and was helpful. Mr Chee Teck was also a nice tutor he was helpful when explaining certain topics I didn’t quite understand.

My son received a 7 for English, Maths and Econs. Mr Sean was very efficient in helping my son get an excellent grasp of how to analyse, organise and be clear when he writes. Ms Jenn helped to motivate my son to realise the importance and be willing to practise his papers. Mr Chee Teck taught well on the subject and my son benefitted from his teaching.

My tutors at Mindlab were not only extremely knowledgeable, but skilled at teaching. Lessons were well structured, and I was always given revision to make sure I didn’t forget. I appreciated it especially when the tutors pointed out common syllabus points, or dangerous student errors. Any feedback given was constructive and honest. I consistently received help on my exam technique. Thank you to my tutors and the Mindlab team for supporting my IB journey.

I really like both of their classes because I understand things faster than I usually do. I used to dislike chemistry and economics but after having several lessons, I gained some confidence in the subjects and now I like both of them.
